From light and curiousity.

Sitting in the car with our waffle cones,
Glad to be out of the dusty wind.
A faint rainbow arched across the sky
And a moment later, it was gone, smothered by cinerous clouds.

Behind tinted windows
I sometimes think you hear my thoughts.
This transparency exasperates me
Mainly because of the lack of reciprocity.

Christmas is nine weeks away.
