Driving on seemingly never-ending roads,
Brilliant green on either side,
Singing along to the chorus of Beck's Lost Cause.
The dull grey skies don't matter,
Nor do the lack of road signs.
We'd drive on,
Just because.
In these days of extended hours,
I feel like disengaging.
I think of tinted lilacs and sugar coated rose petals.
I dream of parisian balconies and pebbled streets.
The days have been more routine than preferred.
Picture a Venn diagram:
The elements being Disatisfaction-Winter-Correctness.
Centre overlap = my general scheme of things
I now know what I don't want.
The tricky bit is steering away from it.
I'd like to know what I do want,
And where does the compromise start?
and Shhhhhheeeeee's back! :>
