If I shopped less
I (could) save money.
I've been abstaining,
For the occasional wave of adult responsibility,
Or perhaps just that I'm waiting for the season-old discounted items to be cleanly devoured.
Last week it was a purple silk skirt
Today lime green stripey shoes.
Yesterday I baked.
It's been a while.
About 150 monster cookies later,
I swore, like I did 8 months ago,
That I was never going to bake/eat another cookie.
It's time for a hair cut.
My want of a fringe remains unsatiated.
